Ashford Young Conservatives aims to encourage young people to get involved in politics and address the issues that matter to them in their area. Ashford Young Conservatives is for anyone under 23 years old, including all members of the Conservative Party under this age. Young Conservatives is the largest youth political organisation in the UK with more than 15,000 members around the country.
We are one of the largest Young Conservatives groups in Kent, and you don’t have to live in Ashford to join us. We believe it is vital that young people’s views and opinions are heard and taken into account. The aim of the group is to attract young, conservative people who want to find out more about politics, start a career in politics or simply want to meet like-minded young people in the local area.
We run a range of events from social gatherings to policy discussions. Ashford Young Conservatives provides members with the opportunity to be involved in all areas of Ashford Conservative Association from canvassing, campaigning to social events, such as the annual dinner.
